You're so ... vain!

Pg. 1: Title: You're so ... vain!
It's scary what you do because of vanity. And what goes on in our heads when we buy shoes that we are not capable of walking in? And especially - when we know we can't walk in a certain pair of shoes, why do we keep on using them? Why do we think it's okay to have one-hour shoes or even 15 minutes shoes - as Oprah calls them?

These pictures are taken after Philosophy's Bispefest on November 4th 2003. And they are embarrasing...! Because sweet, little Christina had gone to a party in her black boots which she knew she couldn't walk in ... but which she thought was right for the clothes and the occasion... This meant she suffered most of the evening - and when it was time to walk home, she couldn't wear them anymore... So most of the way home she walked in her stockings and bare feet - very cold!!!Until finally one of the party - either herself or one of her trusty knights who walked her home and took breaks with her - got the idea she could put her gloves on her feet...
So this is the story behind these pretty pictures - a freezing Christina with sore feet with gloves on ...
And the worst part is that despite the embarrasment it wasn't the last time she did something like this...

Had so much fun making these layouts - I think they are very funny and ironic and I love that. Especially since the person I'm making fun of, is me!
