Sunflower seeds for Max

When we found out that Max was sick and that his sickness was a sign of old age, we decided to try and spoil him just a little bit more. And also, I knew I had to get some pictures taken and pages scrapped of him while he was still here. This layout is a combination of both these things.
I really like this layout. It's rare that I start out with patterned paper like this from Sei and on top of that, I ended up fitting even more pictures on the layout than orignally planned. And even more - I love the look of the pink stickers with Max's name on top of it! It looks so good! And the phrase 'our little' was a left over from some other project - I think the last word was princess and I've used that on another layout... But it worked great here!

  To make Max's life a little bit better her in his last time, we try to spoil him a bit more, giving him sunflower seeds every day to spice up his food, among other things. This day I decided to let him just dig into the seeds and he took that literally. He went right to work and there was no reason to waste time just eating them, why eat when you can just stuff one of your cheeks and then eat later? So the result was that when I stopped him and took the seeds away from him he was completely lop sided - one entire cheek just stuffed full of seeds!

  For at gøre Max’s liv lidt bedre her hans sidste tid, forsøger vi at forkæle ham lidt mere, blandt andet ved at give ham lidt solsikkefrø hver dag for at gøre maden lidt lækrere. Men denne dag besluttede jeg at lade ham selv guffe løs af frøene og det tog han bogstaveligt. Han gik straks i krig og der var ingen grund til at spilde tiden med at spise frøene, hvorfor spise når man kan proppe sin kind og så spise senere? Så resultatet blev, at da jeg stoppede ham og tog solsikkefrøene fra ham, så var han helt skæv i hovedet – hele den ene kind var bare proppet fuld af frø!
