The Praque Castle

 

Praque castle is actually a lot of different sights. It's a huge castle area with both the actual castle, a cathedral, an old small street with tiny houses, prison tower and loads more. This is kind of the starting page for that part of our trip.

  From the metronome we walked through a park, passed the Orangerie and the summer palace and ended at the castle! The most impressive was thatn from a huge square you walked beneath a building through a low vault and then we stood a very close to the cathedral! We bought tickets so we could see everything - and started with walking around the cathedral and finding a café where we could get some icecream and something to drink - and where I got in a fight with some italians because we disagreed about who had the right to the table... They won this table - but luckily another table got available shortly after. After this pitstop we were ready to see the castle area.

  Fra metronomen gik vi videre gennem en park, kom forbi orangeriet samt sommerpaladset og endte oppe ved selve slottet! Det mest imponerende var, når man fra en stor åben plads gik under en bygning gennem en lav hvælving og så stod kun 20 meter fra katedralen! Vi købte billetter så vi kunne se alt – og startede så med at gå rundt om katedralen og finde en café, hvor vi kunne få noget is og noget at drikke – og hvor jeg var ved at komme op at skændes med nogle italienere, fordi vi var uenige om, hvem der havde ret til bordet… De vandt det bord – men heldigvis blev der et andet ledigt lige efter. Efter dette lille pitstop var vi klar til at se slots-området.
