Orkan

Orkan     Orkan, pg. 2

I made this layout assembly line style and it was perfect for these pictures of the big storm back in 1999. It was kind of boxy however - but when I added the stripes of cardstock across the paper it made it much lighter and it worked.
I've been wondering what to do with these pictures for years - but now they're scrapped. It's amazing how well this assembly line stuff works with old pcitures you've been having a hard time with. When you try to scrap them the normal way, they sort of drench all the creative juices out of you - but when you just make the layout and then look at what pictures could work, it all just comes together so much easier.
It's another way to scrap, another way to use the creativity. And it's still fun and it creates variety in the way, you approaches scrapping. I feel it makes me create different kinds of layouts while still maintaining my style.
