Theodor's memorial place

   

Well, this page was kind of hard, kind of easy. I have had these pictures for so long and never knew how to do it to do them justice. I mean, the pictures are beautiful and they symbolizes sort of the final resting place of my bunnies, especially Theodor.
The important thing to know about Theodor is that we got him when he was about a year old and he hadn't been treated completely right so he loved it with us because he had a freedom he had never before experienced, the ability to move around in an entire apartment and to socialize a bit with other bunnies. The tragedy is that after 3½ months we had to have him put down because the vet discovered various teeth problems that would mean he had to go to the vet all the time and each time he would be in danger - and he would also be in too much pain...
Because of all this and because we didn't have another place to bury him besides in my parent's garden in another town. So we needed a place to go and remember. And this is it.

  Da det blev nødvendigt at aflive Theodor så pludseligt, havde vi behov for et sted, hvor vi kunne gå hen og mindes ham. Valget faldt på dette sted ved Odense Å, tæt på Slotssøen og Langelinie. Der er utrolig smukt der med vandet og træerne – et smukt sted at mindes en blid, lille kanin, der ikke fik det liv, han fortjente, men som i den korte tid han var hos os, dog levede et godt liv. Efterhånden som de andre døde, brugte vi stedet til at mindes dem alle, så det udviklede sig til at være en mindelund for dem alle – men det var oprindeligt Theodors.
