Christina Stind Rosendahl - BOM pg. 1

   

In September, Club Scrap started a Book of Me challenge. Each month they are going to post three layout ideas and then you can make one or two or three. I've wanted to create a Book of Me for a long, long time, ever since I read Angie Pedersen's book, but I haven't ever really gotten around to doing it. But now I'm going to do it. I'm going to make pages every month and hopefully I'm going to end up with a great collection of layouts telling about every aspects of me.
This layout is a simple start, just telling the story of my name and showing some pictures of me. Two pictures from this year and one from when I was a little girl.
One of the things I really like about a Book of Me is that it's a time capsule. You make one and it shows every detail of your life - and then in about ten years time you can make a new and it will be completely different because you have evolved and grown. For instance, right now I'm living with my boyfriend and studying at the university - but in ten years I will hopefully have a job and maybe even have kids (hopefully, otherwise I'm going to be way way way too old!!) .

  My given name is Birgith Christina Rosendahl Kristensen. A very, very long name. Mom added Birgith, because she wanted me to have an extra name in case I didn't like Christina. I'm not sure why they put Birgith first because I've always been called Christina but I think the name sounds better in that order, so maybe that's why.
  I've never liked Birgith - and I especially didn't like it when new teachers, doctors etc called me Birgith Kristensen because who was that??? So I removed Birgith - and added Stind - and removed Kristensen (in that order), so I finally at then end came to be called my name, my real name - Christina Stind Rosendahl.

  Jeg er døbt Birgith Christina Rosendahl Kristensen. Et meget, meget langt navn. Mor tilføjede Birgit, fordi hun ville have, at jeg skulle have et ekstra navn, hvis jeg ikke brød mig om Christina. Jeg ved ikke helt, hvorfor de satte Birgith først, når jeg altid er blevet kaldt Christina, men jeg synes, det lyder bedst i den rækkefølge, så måske derfor??
  Jeg har aldrig brudt mig om Birgith – og jeg brød mig slet ikke om det, når nye lærere, læger, apoteker etc. kaldte mig Birgith Kristensen – for hvem var det??? Så derfor slettede jeg Birgith – og tilføjede Stind – og slettede Kristensen (i den rækkefølge), så jeg endelig til sidst kom til at hedde mit navn, mit rigtige navn – Christina Stind Rosendahl.
