Childhood Ponies

This section is dedicated to my childhood ponies. Not that I had a big herd ... I only had 3: Sundance (from the Megan & Sundance set), Baby Cotton Candy & Baby Honeycomb. I loved these three ponies and played so much with them. My friend also had some ponies; I can remember she had Applejack and Peachy at least. My mom hated them - and still do btw - so that's why I never got more ...
I always dreamed of getting Firefly. When I was out walking the dog together with my mom, I often pretended to be riding on Firefly - but I never got her. But now I have her! Several versions of her, in fact!
It was the dream of getting her, that made me start collecting. And now I have somewhere between 100 and 200 ... lost track... But I'm trying to get them all organized and put on shelves so they can look their best.

This picture is from my birthday in 1986 when I turned 9. Very beautiful hair cut btw! And my natural hair color - been years since I've seen that ... lol. But notice - in my right hand I'm holding Megan from the Megan & Sundance set!!! I loved that doll - played so much with her and with the ponies. And even after I stopped playing with ponies, I played with her... Uh - and my mom made that sweater for me!
