30 today

I thought I'd better get started on a series of layouts celebrating my 30th birthday and this is the first one. I really like how this turned out (and the scan made the yellow more yellow that it really is, it's more muted irl).
This is just a layout to sort of get me started on this whole 30 thing - and even though the pictures may be an odd choice for a 30th birthday layout, they fit. Later layouts will detail what we did that day and the gifts but for now suffice to say, that we had a wonderful low key day.

  30 years ... Been looking forward to it with both excitement and a little fear... Suddenly there's the number 3 in front of my age and I don't at all feel that I can be 30 - as a 30-year old you're an adult, has kids and everything and I don't feel like an adult and of course has no other children than Kay and Max. But the day showed that it can be kind of cool to be 30...

  30 år … Set frem til med både spænding og lidt skræk … Lige pludselig er der et 3-tal foran min alder og et eller andet sted så er jeg slet ikke der, hvor jeg føler jeg kan være 30 – som 30-årig er man da voksen, har børn og alt muligt og jeg føler mig bare slet ikke voksen og har jo altså ikke andre børn end Kay og Max. Men dagen viste, at det kan være ganske fedt at være 30…
